This was the theme we selected for 2014, and as the year is winding down I’m taking time to look back at all we’ve accomplished this year. There’s been a lot.
I set my intention during my tenure as your Chapter President to foster and develop a sense of Family and Community for our chapter, both within the chapter itself as well as extending out into the community around us. I believe that I was able to accomplish that in no small part due to the amazing and dedicated team I had supporting me. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I wouldn’t have been able to impact our chapter without the small yet mighty Board I was honored and blessed to serve with. So I look back over this year not as something I’ve done, rather as a testament to what we have accomplished.
At our chapter meeting this evening I will officially hand over the reins to Maggie Stern, our 2015 President. It will be a bittersweet moment, and I know with certainty that the chapter is in great shape to have her taking the helm and guiding us on to even more amazing things in support of the coaching industry and our community. She has also assembled a dynamic team who is eager to help shape the future of our chapter, and that brings a smile to my face, and I look forward to serving with them in the role of Immediate Past President.
Welcome to ICF Orange County, I am proud to call this my home chapter. I know we have a great group of people in our membership, and always look forward to reconnecting and enhancing the sense of family and community we’ve established in the chapter. I look forward to seeing you at our next event.
